About

Hello!
My name is Hayeon and I am a fourth-year student at UC Berkeley, studying towards a B.S. in Society & Environment and a minor in Public Policy.I grew up with an international lifestyle having lived in Korea, China, Singapore, and a few different cities in the US as well, and am incredibly thankful for how my experiences helped shape who I am today.Professionally, I have extensive background skill in several branches of product marketing, having worked for various start up businesses over the course of the past few years - you can learn more about my qualifications and past experiences on my resume here.I find many of my passions deeply rooted in caring for others, creating a fluid global + international community and network, eating good food, capturing valuable memories, and animals (specifically, my lovely pets Dubu, Solo, and Mako)! In my free time, I love to thrift second-hand apparel and use them to create my own clothing so I can sell sustainable, fashionable, and affordable options to customers on my Depop public platform. I also am super passionate about the culinary world! I previously worked local small business as a barista, and when I'm not developing my palate for a good cup of coffee, I love cooking and baking up a storm at home.I am always looking for new opportunities to expand my passions, knowledge, and experience in anything so please feel free to contact me if there is anything you need!

3/7 - 3/23: Shop collaboration with solucky!I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to have partnered with a Bay Area marketing organization called solucky to promote my products and reach a wider audience through their platform! It was a unique experience to have gotten to take the next step towards legitimacy for my small business, and I'm incredibly thankful to all of those who purchased and supported my business through this collaboration.
About my businessOver the summer mid-pandemic, I picked up my new hobby of thrifting clothes, which soon evolved to creating my own clothing using thrifted materials and art from small creators. these are the etsy stores i support with my business: Wildflower and Co., SomeCutePatches, kindersticker, and YourPatchStore.i am able to display and sell my clothes on my depop platform, which you can find here!
Priced at $12 per shirt, I sell my clothes at a relatively cheaper price than many because these shirts are not intended for me to create profit. instead, the price fully reflects covering material costs so that I am able to break even. on top of that, 15% of every shirt purchase goes towards the customer's choice of climate-change/sustainable organization. At the end of 2020, I ended up donating a total of ~$63 in total, taking into consideration that I started my business around November 2020!
